The 9 de Octubre Administrative Complex occupies the block where the old “Model Prison” was located, whose project dates from 1877.

The new construction includes four office towers, each located on one corner of the block.

Below ground there are three levels that occupy the entire block, except in the areas where the galleries of the old prison are located. The basements allow the necessary integration and communication between the different buildings.

As for the towers, the floor slabs from the first floor to the roof are resolved by means of 0.35 m thick solid slabs. The slab is linked to the perimeter porches, external to the façade, through reinforced concrete connectors that run through it.

The structure project has been carried out jointly with FHECOR Ingenieros Consultores.
