Located in the east of the city of Montevideo, the Barradas viaduct is part of the interchange that solves the access to the capital from that direction.
This interchange begins its trajectory in Rafael Barradas Street in the South and projects towards the North, crossing Av. Italia in elevation by means of the viaduct.
When projecting it, it was tried to emphasize the linearity of the structure, highlighting the line between both embankments with its green coverage and residential environment.
The structure is completely monolithic, including the accesses. In its section, it dialogues with different curves that, with a clear structural sense, resolve vehicular and pedestrian traffic, with safety and minimal edges.
